I used to think IV vitamin drips or NAD injections were harmless... maybe even “cutting edge.”
I used to think IV vitamin drips or NAD injections were harmless... maybe even “cutting edge.” But the more I dug, the scarier it got. We’re talking about: • Life-threatening allergic reactions (yes, documented deaths from IV vitamin K1 and thiamine). • Organ damage (high-dose vitamin C linked to acute kidney injury, heart rhythm issues, and fluid overload). • Infections and sepsis (real cases of contaminated IVs leading to septic shock). • NAD drips (FDA warnings, huge inflammatory responses, reports of severe chills, vomiting, and even mitochondrial stress). • Carcinogenic concerns (high-dose NAD precursors showing DNA damage and liver toxicity in research). Seriously... This is not just some rare fringe data.. the FDA has issued repeated safety alerts. The literature is full of case reports that include cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, kidney failure, and sepsis... all from “wellness” IVs. What you need to understand is that most IV vitamin and NAD clinics aren’t operating under strict hospital-grade regulation. What I've since discovered is that sterile technique varies, product sourcing is HIGHLY questionable, and quality control is nowhere near as robust as you might think. Sure, it’s marketed as “biohacking.” But it’s really an invasive medical procedure, with real, documented risks... sold as a spa treatment. If want better health and hormones, I implore you to think hard before letting anyone push unknown compounds straight into your bloodstream.
